Chapter 5

“New friends and new fish!”

Aura, after a few years, got bored of Vol’antim and decided to start adventuring…

…She wanted to explore the world, experience the beauty of the Menagerie Coast from up close.

Our little blue warrior, trained in the ways of the ranger, packed her things, grabbed her bow and glaive and set out for a city known as Port Damali.

Her brother, Eip, was sent there by the Horizon Watch for a mission that Aura knew nothing about.

Eip, is a fierce Aarakocran warrior sent as a representative of the Horizon Watch, the Union of the Aarakocras of Vol’antim, to what end however, only Eip knew.

Eip knew better than to trouble his little beloved sister with matters of state and thus, when the young Eisfura arrived in Damali, he sent her on her first job to learn to earn her keep. After all, Aura was still only 5 years old and definitely had the excitement of one!

Eip knew 3 very important things about his sister…

…she loved the ocean, fish and wondering around nature’s most beautiful creations. Therefore, his decision to send her as a sailor on a ship to travel the coast was a blessing for our little winged friend.

Aura traveled the seas for a while, took in the fresh, wet air of the ocean, along with her new crew, or ‘Her besties’ as she would have put it. ‘The little chubby red-bearded human’ also known as a dwarf -to everyone besides Aura- was the captain of this ship and Aura grew to like him, even though ‘he is always frustrated and yelling in enthousiastic gibberish’.

Six months have past and Eip needed Aura’s aid in an important matter.

A message needed to be delivered as fast as possible to Sir Linus Denwallop in the city of Gwardan in the Northwest side of the Menagerie.

Eip knew there was nothing faster than her when she got her wings off the ground and Aura saw this as a great chance to see more of the coast and ‘ALSO get a lot of coins doing it!

“This is AAAAAwwEsomE!”.

The coin was substantial but Aura was more interested on the ‘translation’ of these coins in her head. She knew that this much coin would be enough to buy a lot of her favorite drinks and food, and if managed correctly, for a long time too!

She wasted no time, said her goodbyes to Eip and her new friends and set off to the city of elves, Gwardan.
